Greetings and Congratulations to the Davao Gulf Management Council for the publication of the Davao Gulf Framework Plan.

The Department of Environment and Natural Resources, a member of this council, had been part of and witness to the efforts of DGMC’s fortitude in pushing through with this management framework plan.
The DENR is one with the council in seeing the framework plan as a means to provide all concerned with a common direction and a common organizational mechanism for the sustainable management of the Davao Gulf.

“A nation enjoying and sustaining its natural resources and a clean environment”, this Vision of the DENR, we share with the council. We shall work with the DGMC is striking a dynamic balance between natural resources development and conservation. The Davao Gulf Framework Plan will be our bible in the achievement of this goal.
